Not exactly. Kyp is a business operating system — it records what happened, tells you what it means, and says what to do next. It produces a profit and loss and a monthly accounting package your bookkeeper can work from, but it does not replace your accountant and it does not file your BIR returns for you.
No. Kyp works whether you ring sales on a POS, write them in a notebook, or type them in at the end of the day. If you do have a POS, a connector is on the roadmap so the daily total flows in instead of being re-typed.
That is the normal starting point. Import handles products, customers, opening stock, unpaid bills, and customer credit. Kyp maps your column names to its fields, shows a preview, flags duplicates and bad values, and any import can be undone in one action for seven days.
For the web workspace, yes. The phone app records sales, expenses, and stock counts offline and syncs when signal returns — which matters if your stall is in a dead zone or the mall wifi drops at peak.
Your business data is yours. It is never sold, never used to train a model, and you can export everything at any time in Excel and CSV. Deleting a business soft-deletes for 30 days first, so a mistake is recoverable.
Two on Starter, ten on Business, unlimited on Multi-Branch. A read-only accountant seat is free on every plan, because your bookkeeper should not cost you a licence.
Full payroll, HRIS, recruitment, enterprise procurement, and complex manufacturing ERP. Those are deliberate omissions. A ten-person café should not have to learn ERP vocabulary to find out whether it made money last month.
